What we collect
When you submit the conversation form, we collect your name, work email, organisation, selected topic and message, together with the submission time and originating page or action. We assign a submission ID and a status to help handle your enquiry.
Why and how we use it
We use this information to understand and respond to enquiries about Xⁿ Institute and its activities, and only to handle the enquiry and any directly resulting conversation. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to marketing communications.
Storage and access
This website is hosted through OpenAI’s ChatGPT Sites infrastructure, using Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare D1 storage. These infrastructure providers process information as needed to host, store and operate the service. Submitted messages are available through an inbox restricted to the authorised Site owner.
Cookies, tracking and protection
We do not add analytics, advertising trackers, marketing scripts or non-essential cookies. The hosting platform uses authentication when sign-in is required, including for the private owner inbox. No browsing history or fingerprinting is collected by the conversation form.
To limit automated submissions, we use validation, an empty-field check and short-lived rate-limit counters. Email addresses and, when provided by the hosting infrastructure, network addresses are converted into keyed, hourly identifiers for these counters. Raw network addresses are not stored in our message database. Expired counters are removed when further submissions are processed. Infrastructure providers may separately process technical logs needed to operate and protect the service.
Retention
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the enquiry and any directly resulting relationship, subject to applicable legal obligations.
Privacy requests
Use the conversation form and select Privacy request to ask about your information.
